I joined the NUJS diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Law while I was in the final year of my law school. After my internship experience in the fourth year of law school, I decided that I want to pursue a career in corporate law only. I realized while interning that the knowledge gained in classroom and the practical knowledge required to put that into practice was very different. Classroom education was good but did not help with practical application.
Many of my batch mates and seniors were already enrolled for the NUJS diploma course and these were the people who were preparing for interviews at top Law firms. So I looked up the internet for the NUJS Diploma course in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Law and found the course syllabus to be very comprehensive. Since I was in my final year, I really wanted to brush up my skills before I started my corporate career.
I decided to take up this course because it provided the in-depth practical knowledge of different laws which I was looking for and I strongly feel that this course has added value to my profile.
I especially found the modules on Raising Investment to be very beneficial; I had to keep going back to it. Private Equity is what I still focus on and this gave me the right launch pad. It explained the concept in a manner that it’s easy to grasp and you can apply it in practical situations. Till today whenever I want answers to questions around this topic I simply refer this module and find my answers readily.
This course has definitely helped me, it has prepared me for my career in corporate law; I still refer the course and get good direction from it.
I’m passionate about corporate law. My future plan is to have a corporate law career specializing in Private Equity and I’m sure this course would help me in that.
I have even mentioned this diploma in my CV and my LinkedIn profile. I would definitely recommend this course to people; rather I’ve already recommended it to quite a few people. I believe this course is particularly beneficial for entrepreneurs and law students, especially if they are planning to have a corporate law career like me.
