Aparna Ravulavaru completed her BA LLB (5yrs integrated) from Padala Rama Reddi Law College, Hyderabad. She is currently working in the Rights and Permissions department, which is the legal department of Orient Blackswan Private Limited, a publishing house based in Hyderabad. She mainly deals with matters related to Intellectual Properly Rights.
She is currently pursuing the MA in Business Laws course from NUJS. Over here, she shares her experience with the course so far. Over to Aparna:
I was aware of the NUJS Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws course and wanted to enroll for the same and that is when I came to know that NUJS is launching the MA in Business laws course. I always wanted to do my Masters but was finding it difficult to manage time with a full-time job at hand. I wanted something flexible which I could study while doing my business and this course fit the bill.
This program looked attractive to me as this was offering me a Masters degree along with the Business Laws knowledge which I was seeking and the flexibility to do it online. Secondly, I have full faith in the iPleaders team, as I had already done the BarHacker course; with them. BarHacker is the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) preparation course offered by iPleaders.
I always give importance to practical knowledge, because of the same reason I practiced in court for few years to gain enough court experience before taking up a corporate job, though I always wanted to land up in the corporate world. The best thing I like about this course is its practical approach. The course content is very practical and the learnings can be applied in real life scenarios.
The assignments are very meticulously planned. The writing assignments in which we have to research and write an article each month has helped me develop my interest in writing articles. It has improved my research skills as well. Though I work in the legal department, it has encouraged me to peep into the editorial department as well, thus giving me an additional skill to grow and develop.
I want to settle down in a good position in the corporate world and I strongly believe the knowledge gained through the NUJS MA in Business Laws course would help in this.
